The Founders – Roy and Gertrude

Roy Snow learned his electrical skills working alongside his father in the then thriving shoe factories of the Lewiston/Auburn community. When he was older, Roy took the skills he learned working along side his dad and, with his new wife Gertrude, started his own business in 1947 – Roy I. Snow Inc. This began his longtime career as a master electrician.

For many years Roy worked in the field while Gertrude handled the affairs of the office. Together they transformed the business from their partnership of two, to a thriving small business that supports a dozen employees. In 2005 Roy and Gertrude both retired and handed the reigns to their long-time employee, and son, Dan.

Sadly, Roy lost his battle with cancer in 2009. Gertrude continues to enjoy her time at home, camp and visiting with their 3 children, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
